I’ve been working on this pattern for several months now and I’m so excited to share it with you. It works up quickly, with bulky yarn and a 7mm crochet hook, and you can make it whatever size you want so it really can be a very versatile piece - I’ve made several small ones which work really nicely as a placemat for a centerpiece, or as a kitty bed (my brother in law’s cat, Chi Chi, will testify that it’s very soft and cozy!). If you make it larger you can make it into a bathroom rug which will be nice and absorbent in the cotton blend I’ve chosen, or make it an enormous playmat! The possibilities are endless. The pattern has images to help you work through it (I apologize but the videos are not working - I had some technical difficulties with my website so the link goes to a copy of the blog post that I kept with Evernote). I hope you enjoy creating this awesome hexagon!
