The inspiration for making this motif was a mixture of sources, including geometric mosaics and colorful yarns.

This pattern is comprised of hexis and stars which you can sew together to create stunning blankets, placemats, etc. Or you can simply choose to make a solitary star for a coaster, tealight coaster, wall hanging, dream catcher- anything’s possible! Allow your imagination to run wild!

It is also designed for any gauge! For tealight coasters I used fingering weight. For larger, mug coasters I used aran weight.
