This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook.
Yardage is given (page 4) for a finished blanket that is 33 inches by 30 inches (84 cm by 76 cm) using DK yarn & a 4mm hook

Gauge/tension – Not really crucial for this pattern, but for me (using the given yarn & hook size), one Hexie is 3.75 inches (9.5cm) from corner-to-corner and 3.25 inches (8cm) from side-to-side.
Finished Size – 33 inches by 30 inches (84 cm by 76 cm) using DK yarn & a 4mm hook.
Yarn – I’ve given the colors and brands for what I used in my blanket, but you can use any DK yarn you like best.
Variations – This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook, or be made larger by adding another ring of flowers, changing the flower layout, or by adding more background color Hexies.
