Just in time for the weekend!!!

This scarf has a little brioche and a little garter stitch. The center garter stitch section adds a fun pop of color and a 3D element. The design was inspired by English paper piecing where hexagons are very common. This is a quick project, a one-of-a-kind design that will add interest to any outfit while keeping you warm and comfy. It is also a good way to learn how to work with more than one color or yarn. A nice weekend project, this scarf will give you the opportunity to choose beautiful variations of colors. I love the rhythm of brioche knitting – an easy set of repeats for an interesting looking result.

Use DK, worsted or bulky yarn. Gauge is not crucial for this project. You can choose to make this scarf as long as you wish by working the repeat as often as you want. You could also work with 3 colors. This can easily become a stash buster. A basic knowledge of brioche knitting, increases and decreases, and working with 2 yarns/colors are helpful to easily create this scarf. You can also use this smaller project as a learning tool and improve your knitting skills.

As usual, the pattern has clear and color-coded instructions.
