The Hey Bluebird Cowl pattern was born as a gift for a friend. It was meant to bring comfort in a difficult time. I wanted a design that incorporated birds in flight in the stitch pattern, as my friend is a singer/ songwriter and I love her song, “Hey Bluebird.” I am so honored to see my friend wearing her cowl.

The Hey Bluebird Cowl is worked top down with two contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn. The pattern incorporates rolled and ribbed top and bottom edges. Three different needle sizes are used to give the cowl a beautiful drape when worn.
