I was tickled to design this Fairy Tale Collection wrap for the ladies at Toad Hollow. When offered, I chose the Snow White themed yarn because of the possibility of playing with mini skeins representing the 7 dwarfs.
This is a checklist pattern with repeating sections using fingering weight yarn and an easily memorized pattern. It works up in two sections with the first repeat of the ‘dwarfs’ being the “Hi” section and the reverse repeat of the ‘dwarfs’ being the “Ho” section. It can be worn as a shawl, a wrap over the shoulders, a scarf, or buttoned together as a poncho.

NOTE: Only the bottom cast on and bind off edges of the wrap are knit using yarn held double to provide a bit of structure, the rest is knit using fingering held single.

YARN: Toad Hollow Superwash Merino (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon; 400 yds/366 meters/100 g; 2 ply) – 2 skeins MC
Toad Hollow Superwash Merino Mini Skeins (80% superwash merino, 20% Nylon high twist; 80 yds/74 meters/20 g) – 1 skein each of 7 CC

Note: While exact gauge is not critical for the success of this project, a difference in gauge will affect the amount of yarn required.
NOTIONS: Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
