Hibernation Socks
When the dark evenings come and the weather cools there is nothing like hibernating under a handmade quilt with a hot chocolate, a cookie (or two), a candle flickering and cosy hand knit socks keeping your toes snuggly.
The Hibernation socks are knit cuff down with a picot cuff, a Godet heel and Beanie toe. They feature a Star Cookie Lace design and an all over Twinkle Pattern.
The pattern has instructions for 3 sizes (S, M & L), is written for magic loop and is suitable for an intermediate sock knitter.
It includes two video tutorials to demonstrate special stitches for the heel.
For the sample I used a West Green Loft Yarns sock set in ‘Hibernation’ with a ‘Hot Chocolate’ mini skein in her
Classic Sock. In fact this pattern was a collaboration with vykky at WGLY.
I’d love to see your Lola Socks #hibernationsocks
