Shadow knitting is a surprisingly easy and fun technique - just by alternating garter ridges and stockinette stripes you can create motifs only seen at an angle.

Barry Klein of Trendsetter Yarn Group taught a class for HOKC and showed us a sample of a heart he created. He kindly shared his chart with us for this fun cowl. Made out of 4 skeins of Cardiff Cashmere it is the ultimate cuddle! Make it for yourself or a loved one!

The pattern is both written and charted. You use almost all of the 2 skeins of mc and most of one each of the cc color.
