These socks are inspired by the move Before I Go To Sleep, which stars Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth and was designed for Super Sock Scarefest 2017.

In the movie, Kidman’s character awakes each morning with no memory of what has happened or who she is. There are notes everywhere to tell her things and she has a video diary. One of her memory aids has a comment of “Don’t Trust Ben.” And Ben is her husband.

The socks use a knit/purl pattern, in Morse Code, to write out “Don’t trust Ben.” The Morse Code key is included for those who wish to incorporate a different message.

Yarn suggestions
Solid, tonal, gradient, or self striping will allow the message to be more visible. Variegated would keep the message secret.
