Hidden Valley is the name of the cross country ski trail system on the edge of Ely, Minnesota where our store is located. We knit this hat and it turned out to be the perfect hat for skiing in. If you are new to intarsia, this is a perfect project to learn the basics.

Yarn
Any worsted weight yarn that can be knit to 5.5 to 1”
Cascade 220 works well
Main Color (MC) - 220 yards (you will have leftovers)
4 Contrast Colors (CC)- 4 yards each

Gauge
5.5 sts. to 1” in stockinette stitch

Needles
16” Circular - Size 4
16” Circular - Size 3 (if you provisionally cast on)
Double Pointed – Size 4 for I-Cord
