GAUGE
23 sts + 36 rows / 4” (10 cm) in stockinette in the round.

Your swatch should be helical stripes alternating yarn as you see in Section 1 of the pattern. Swatch measurements taken without blocking. You can also check gauge after you finish your first “Mainly Plain” section.
