This listing is for a PDF hand knitting pattern. Higgs Field is an asymmetric triangle shawl, worked from the right tip to the left side. It uses two contrasting colors of yarn, worked with mosaic stripes and cables, with the cables oating over the stripes. It uses two skeins of the main color and a single skein of the contrast color.

The design was inspired by the physics idea that the mass of bosons is caused by their interactions with
the Higgs Field. The mosaic stripes represent the field itself, while the cables represent the wavy lines often
used in Feynman diagrams to represent the gauge bosons.
