The High Chaparral Shawl is worked in components building on each other: one center lace panel, one triangle each on the left and right top sides of the panel, attached “as you go”. Lastly, the bottom band is worked from left and right edges of the lace triangles and center square. Instructions for the center lace square and triangles are given as charts, bottom border is written out row by row.

You will need 416 yds of a main color and 208 yds of a contrasting color.

Slipped stitches in the border should be slipped purlwise on all rows.
