The High Line Beanie is named for the High Line in NYC, an abandoned rail track that was converted into a park and garden. The NYC High Line is an urban oasis offering greenery, beauty, and art in the middle of the city, and the pattern is named for the way yarn and crafting can provide an oasis and act as a comfort amidst troubling times.

The High Line Beanie is a classic slouchy beanie. Worked from the bottom up, it features a ribbed brim with columns of texture that spiral around the body. The pattern is designed to minimize counting for mindless crafting, but offers enough variety to keep things interesting.

The pattern includes five sizes and can be customized for additional sizes or to work with any gauge. The width of the brim and the slouchiness are easily adjustable as well. Yardage will vary based on size and adjustments made.
