This design was inspired by the valley where my parents live in Colorado. The colors are evocative of the sunsets and the forest fires that occur there during the summer months. I designed this hoping that you will make it your own out of colors and yarn that bring you joy.

Materials
Yarn: Worsted weight, 200 grams/420 yards (365 meters) (sample used Malabrigo Rios 100% wool; 100 grams, 210 yards (192 meters); 2 skeins)
• MC: Glazed Carrots
• CC: Piedras

Needle: Size US 10/6.0 mm 24-inch (60 cm) circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: darning needle, scissors

Gauge
Stockinette knit flat: 16 stitches x 25 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)

Size/Measurements
One size fits most
Tip to tip: 76 inches (193 cm)
Depth: 15 inches (37 cm)

Skills needed: knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog and picot.
