High Priest of Rhythmic Noise
A top down garter stitch shawl with asymmetrical ‘V’ striping that is created through short rows. With the breakdown of this shawl there is room for creativity. Use leftovers to make every stripe a different color or texture, use two colors for contrast, use a gradient, there are endless ideas for this pattern.

Needles and Notions
US 7 (4.5 mm) 32” - 40” inch circular needles
4 stitch markers
1 locking stitch marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Blocking supplies
Gauge:
Example is 3 sts = 1” garter stitch after blocking
Gauge is not necessary
Post Blocking Measurements:
This pattern includes two size options depending on your preference, big and bigger.
-The relaxed size of the smaller version (shown in photos) consists of 3 Stripe Set repeats. Blocking: 27.5” x 69”, Relaxed: 21” x 61”
-The larger size consists of 4 Stripe Set repeats. Blocking 28” x 106”, Relaxed: 22” x 88”
Finished measurements will also depended gauge based on needle size used, weight of yarn and on the aggressiveness of blocking.
