There is a chill in the air and these arm warmer/ fingerless mitts will keep you cozy.
This is a quick knit suited for the intermediate knitter who wants to try some new technical skills like grafting, lifted increases, and cabling but not a whole sweater’s worth. The cuff for these mitts is knit back and forth then grafted together. Stitches are picked up to form the forearm sleeve which is worked in the round. There is shaping to fit the wrist area. Increases for the forearm are incorporated into the Celtic knot style chevrons.

Cable patterns are both written and charted.

Thank you to Dorothy Ratigan for the idea to twist the entry for the Celtic knot chevrons and her instructions for pattern formatting.
