Highland beanie
The Highland beanie is a super cosy, super squishy cable beanie with a turned up ribbed hem. Designed to keep you cosy and warm on the coldest of highland winter walks. The beanie is worked from the bottom up in the round and instructions are given for sizes premmie – adult large.

42 (83, 125, 166, 216) metres
of Aran / Worsted weight (or any weight that knits to gauge) superwash merino wool.
Sample is knitted using Chester Wool Superwash Merino Aran, 100g = 182y / 166m.

4mm circular or double pointed needles
5mm circular or double pointed needles
5mm cable needle or spare double pointed needle
1x stitch marker
Scissors
Tapestry needle

Coloured thread that is complementary to your choice of hat colour

Gauge:
20 stitches and 27 rows for a 4x4” / 10x10cm square in cable pattern on 5mm needles.
