They are started off on 3.5mm needles and then move into the round using 4 double pointed needles. This is a great project for those just learning to use dpns.

These use Hayfield Bonus dk yarn in Auburn and Blonde (could be switched out for similar colours) plus small amounts of black and white yarn.

Your pattern will come with all the instructions you need for knitting and finishing off. Each row is numbered and there are plenty of photos to help with sewing together.
