Highland Home Vest echoes memories of my family history with cables and braids. Conversation growing up in my childhood home was always rich with stories. I treasure and share those generational tales, and love the current updates of a close-knit family, supportive and welcoming of new paths and circles.

Designed to fit with with 2-5” / 10-13 cm positive ease.
Vest is worked in the round from the hem upwards to armholes.
Back and Front are worked flat from armholes to Shoulder.
Body of vest features a ribbed hem, followed by combinations of Braids and Cables, with Double Moss texture along the garment sides and twisted rib edging along armholes and V–neck.
Patterning varies based on size; work instructions according to specific size.
Texture instructions are charted-only, grouped by size.
Set Up round is written out based on size.

Difficulty/Skills Required: Level: Experienced.
Knit, Purl, Cables, Long Tail and Knitted cast on methods, Knitting in the round and flat, armhole decreases with simultaneous neck shaping.

Gauge: All gauges are calculated per 4” / 10 cm finished, blocked fabric, using gauge needles.
Cables and Braids: 20 sts and 28 rows/rnds on US 8 / 5 mm needle
