This shawl is constructed as a large cozy triangle, using a range of colours reminiscent of the Highlands’ changing sky and the beautiful and warm Jamieson’s of Shetland’s Heather aran yarn. Feel free to use more colours, or just a single colour, this is a very adaptable construction. The gauge is slightly looser than required to get a better drape.
I used a total of 7 balls and 5.5mm circular needles for this project.

Ce grand châle, dont les couleurs évoquent le ciel changeant des Highlands, a une forme triangulaire confortable et enveloppante. Le superbe fil aran Heather de Jamieson’s of Shetland apporte toute la chaleur que requiert ce type d’ouvrage, tricoté avec un léger déjaugé (aig. 5,5 mm) pour obtenir un beau drapé.
J’ai utilisé trois couleurs, soit en tout 7 pelotes, mais libre à vous d’en utiliser plus, ou juste une seule. C’est un modèle simple et adaptable, et qui plus est vite tricoté !
