Sweater Construction
A top-down yoke sweater with a twisted knit neck ribbing that continues to an easy Field of Flowers lacework. Then you move on to knit the beautiful thistles that are a combination of lacework and wrapped stitches. The wrapped stitches provide dimension in this knitted piece featuring the regal thistle flower. The bottom of the yoke is set off with a craggy rock wall stitch. Short rows are used to provide a higher back neck and faux side seams are used to give a nice shape to the body of the sweater. This sweater is perfect to wear with your tartan while you visit the moors or on your favorite walk in the woods.
