The Highland Wrap was inspired by the Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze and binging on Season One of Outlander.

The Highland Wrap is a striped Triangle Shawl finished with a crochet, chain fringe. The Linen Stitch gives the piece a rustic, loomed appearance and is achieved with an alternating slipped stitch pattern worked on both the right and wrong sides.

The combination of the Linen Stitch and Rhichard’s yarn made for a romantic fabric that is reminiscent of Heathcliff and Kathy roaming the Moors, or Claire and Jamie escaping those pesky Lobsters.
