This pattern is the companion to Highlander Hat. These snug fingerless gloves will keep you toasty on those cold winter days, or in that chilly office. Pair this with Highlander Hat and you’ve got a beautiful set to keep for yourself or gifting. Hat and mitts uses approximately 230-300 yards/211-275 meters, so you could get the set out of one skein.

Yarns and yardage used:
1 skein of Potion Yarns Temptress DK, 100% super wash merino, 100g, 231 yarns/211 meters, in color way The Emerald Isle.
Or approximately 106-135 yards/97-124 meters of DK or light worsted yarn.
Needles:
US size 4/3.5 mm 16”/41 cm, 32”/81 cm for magic loop, or DPN’s
US size 6/4 mm 16”/41 cm, 32”/81 cm for magic loop, or DPN’s
Or needle size to meet gauge

22 sts and 30 rnds equals 4”/10 cm square in reverse stockinette stitch on larger needle in the round after blocking.
Finished measurements:
Please note that these fingerless gloves were designed to fit snug like a sock so they don’t slide around on your hand while wearing them.
Small size is approx 7”/18 cm around and 7 1/4”/18 1/2 cm long unstretched, fitting a palm 7-7 1/2”/18-19 cm around.
Large size is approx 7 1/2”/19 cm around, 7 3/4”/19 1/2 cm, unstretched, fitting a palm 8-8 1/2”/20-21 1/2 cm around
