Hiha horse shoe socks
Cables in knitting are a lot of fun to knit and incredibly versatile. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Depending on the type of yarn you choose, you can make them rugged (with a nice tweed), cheerful (in various solid colors), or super soft and cozy (with beautiful merino or alpaca). With this pattern for ‘Hiha Horseshoe Socks’, the possibilities are endless. A great feature is that this cable, shaped like a horseshoe, is easy and quick to knit, as the actual cable twist only occurs every 8 rounds. If you want to make them extra cheerful, knit them in two colors, with a stripe in a contrasting color. You can also switch the main and contrast colors for each sock, or simply knit them in a nice solid color. This pattern describes both the solid and striped versions. Whatever you choose, I wish you lots of knitting fun! And soon, warm feet.

For DPNs and magic loop
This cuff down sock pattern (with heel flap) is suitable for both knitting with DPNs and magic loop. The instructions for these different types of needles are clearly indicated in the text.
