Hilde is a cute hat with a structured pattern that reminds me of buds.The pattern is easy and it is nice if you are a beginner and would like to learn twisted stitches and bobbles. Or if you are an expert who needs a quick knit.

SIZES
Size 1: 45 cm (17.75“) finished hat circumference
Size 2: 50 cm (19.7“) finished hat circumference
Size 3: 55 cm (21.65ʺ) finished hat circumference

GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4′′ in pattern with 4 mm needles after light blocking.

YARN
Approx. 140/155/170 m (153/170/186 yds) fingering or worsted weight yarn. The yarn used in the sample is Tirol from Wagner Wolle, length per 100 g skein: 170 m (186 yds).

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
4 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) double pointed needles or 60 cm (24“) circular needle depending on your preferred method of knitting small circumferences in the rnd.
3.5 mm (half a size below gauge) double pointed needles or 60 cm (24“) circular needle
Stitch markers
Darning needle to weave in the ends.
