I am sensitive to the charm of “authentic” wools, bearers of history and heritage. This is the case for the very beautiful Snaeldan 2ply, a wool spun in the Faroe Islands, by a family business.

With Hildur, I wanted a simple and feminine pattern that puts wool in the foreground. This cardigan is knitted in one piece, bottom to top and entirely seamless. The sleeves are shaped directly from the armholes with short rows.
A small graphic pattern is added on the top of the garment to bring an original touch.

Note : if you’re using the dyed version of Snaeldan 2ply, you’ll need XS-S = 6 skeins, M1 = 7 skeins, M2-L = 8 skeins, XL = 9 skeins, XL2 = 10 skeins.

Je suis sensible au charme des laines “authentiques”, porteuses d’histoire et de patrimoine. C’est le cas pour la très belle Snaeldan 2ply, une laine filée dans les iles Féroé, par une entreprise familiale.

Avec Hildur, j’ai voulu un modèle simple et féminin, qui mette la laine au premier plan. Ce cardigan est tricoté d’une pièce, du bas vers le haut et entièrement sans couture. Les manches sont façonnées directement sur les emmanchures à l’aide de rangs raccourcis.
Un petit motif graphique est ajouté sur le haut du vêtement pour apporter une petite touche originale.
