Hill Country Scarf
Notes:
This scarf uses slip stitches, is crocheted flat in rows, and has tapered ends. You will not chain one at the end of the rows, just turn and start next row. When crocheting with slip stitches, you want to keep your tension looser than normal so you will be able to get your hook into them without too much difficulty. This scarf is crocheted lengthwise, so be sure to keep your beginning chain loose enough so that the chain edge will not pull tighter than the rows.
This scarf pattern calls for 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Solids and uses all of the two skeins. I got 15 rows in my sample, but you may only get 14 rows, which should work just fine. Also, if you are not using a solid, be sure to check the yardage. You may need more than 2 skeins.
