Hillary Fluff and the magic fungi
This is a pattern for a top down knit cardigan with 3/4 length sleeves. This pattern has a circular yoke and uses the Fair-Isle and stranded colourwork techniques, in addition to Short Row shaping and a steek.
The sleeve and bottom edge chickens are worked and then embroidery and Duplicate st is used to add colour and accents.
Please see schematic for all approximate finished sizes.
Added to the Orignal Hillary pattern is the Hillary & Friends pattern, plus additional colour palettes (seen in images). The Hillary & Friends is the same as Original Hillary, but with pigs and geese in the lower Bottom Edge motif. There are 3 pdfs, Original Hillary only, Original Hillary + Hillary & Friends, and the charts in colour for all. (The second pdf contains charts with symbols.)
Since Gathered Sheep Yarns is now discontinued, I am including an additional pattern pdf including colours from the Knit Picks kit in their Palette yarn (the pdf entitled ‘Hillary & Friends cardigan_MonaZillah_KP’).
If you would like to work this cardigan with Shetland yarn, both Jamieson & Smith and Jamieson’s of Shetland should have a number of beautiful stand-ins.
yarn:
Shetland 4ply by, Gathered Sheep Yarns; Fingering; 100% Pure Shetland Wool; 234yds (213.97m) / 55g or 96yds (87.8m)/20g mini skein

There is a small explanation for working this project as a jumper/sweater, with a few equations, to get you started. However, this project does not include complete jumper instructions.
