Hills Water Bottle Bag
Hills is a small town located in the West Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada, near my home of Nelson. To get there requires driving over a tight turning and winding road. My husband and I make this trip every September to attend the Hills Annual Garlic Festival. The stitch pattern is called Maze, and always reminds me of the road to Hills, and of course the bag will hold garlic as well as water.
The pattern is a small study in slip-stitch knitting. The water bottle bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. It’s fun to do and a great “take with you” project.
Materials: The bags pictured used 100% 6-ply hemp. You will need two contrasting colours: Small:40 grams of MC, 20 grams of CC fits 500/600ml bottle. Large:70 grams of MC, 30 grams of CC fits 1 litre bottle
