Hillside Fairy House Hat
This accessory was inspired by the epic fantasy stories that I grew up reading. The ones where, even if you go on an adventure, there’s always a beautiful, peaceful home to return to. A green land full of people who love their gardens and a good meal (or seven!) more than ambition and war. Where the days are long, the nights are pleasant, and the small folk live in their hillside houses and gather at the local inn to swap tall tales.
The Hillside Fairy House Hat is primarily worked with worsted and Aran (heavy worsted) weight yarn held double. It works up relatively quickly and the personalization options are virtually endless. Many of the accessories can be made with leftover scraps from your stash!
Your purchase includes 14 pages of written instructions for TWO versions of the hat in average adult/teen size, construction and substitution notes, photographs, and troubleshooting from me, should you need it.
This pattern uses US crochet terminology throughout and is written in English. This project requires a fair amount of assembly, an assortment of stitches, and a good understanding of how gauge works. As such, I would place it at a strong intermediate to advanced level pattern.
