Hindeloopen Dress
Errata:
V-neck decrease: decrease every row (while starting shoulder slope decreases at the noted moment) until no more st. remain.
Shoulder slope. BO 4 st at the beginning of the row on each side. Repeat this decrease 5(4,5,4,5,5) times. Final decrease on both sides is 0(4,6,4,7,5,7).
Hindeloopen is an old Frisian fishing town. Broken rib plays the main part in this minimalist dress. We start with it, we end with it and the cute hip pockets are worked in that rib as well.
It’s knit in the round, bottom-up. The sleeves are worked separately and set in the arm opening. The neckband is picked up and knit.

sample garment: model is 1.82m/6”, size S. She is wearing a lengthened size M.
yarn:
MC: fine fingering or laceweight yarn; I used ColourMart Cashmere/Silk/Viscose/Merino 2/12NM 4ply Wt. in Oldenburg.2200(2300,2400,2500,2600,2700)
Alternatives: many fingering yarns will work, for example sock yarns, Drops Extrafine Merino Baby, madelinetosh fingering, madelinetosh Tosh Sock, etc.
Silk or vegetable content in the MC will help it drape.
gauge: Washed and blocked: 25st/36 rounds at 10cm/4” in pattern in the round.
needles: 3 mm/size 4 US, 32” circular needles; I used Addi Turbos.
notions: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn.
