Hinged
The Hinged beanie is one of the seven patterns from the Yarn Play collection – a collaboration with Malabrigo Yarns – by Katya Frankel. Latest pattern version hinged2.2 updated on 19 Dec 2016.
Hinged hat is a slouchy beanie worked in the round from the brim and up. Set against reverse stocking stitch, the twisted rib of the hinged lozenges call back to the twisted stitches found in the brim. The hat is casual and fun with a gently gathered crown.
The pattern is knitted in Malabrigo Worsted, a soft singles yarn which really make the twisted stitches pop.
