This will probably be the easiest bag you will ever make. All it takes is 3 granny squares and an already made bag. Easy Peasy and done, and you have a cute little hippie purse for those days you don’t feel like carrying everything you own in a huge bag.

I have included three different ways to make the Granny Squares in this pattern, two of which are for using Red Heart All in One Granny Square yarn. The other is a traditional Square if you do not have or don’t want to use that yarn.

This bag can also be made with or without the fringe and the beads.

This is an Easy Advanced Intermediate pattern. Easy Stitches, Easy Repeats, but there are a couple of spots where you have to pay attention to stitch placement. You absolutely have to know how to crochet to complete this pattern.

Materials
• Red Heart Granny Square Yarn or 5 colors of worsted weight (4) yarn (Color A, B, C,D,E—Your choice) Bag pictured is RH Granny Square in Black Cyber Leaf.
• Size H/8-5.00 or I/9-5.50 (I use Boye) Whichever size you need to make 6x6 inch square
• Tapestry Needle

• Needle and Thread or Glue and Glue Gun
• Beads (optional)

Approximate Yardage
• 90-120 yards

Gauge
• 6 DC and 1 chains and 3 Rows = 2 inches

Sizes
• Bag Measures- 9” tall, and 6” wide minus the strap.
