Montreal is one of my favorite places to stay. Street art, festivals, art galleries, a mix of city, nature and industrial landscape. It has got its unique relaxed atmosphere and it is a very inspiring city.

I had the idea for this graphic and colorful pattern in Montreal, filled with this energy and I started the knitting there.

I had this unusual construction in mind for some time and I thoroughly enjoyed its design and knitting.

This shawl is knitted in round with a lace yarn. A fingering yarn is fine too.
A circular needle is needed. Double pointed needle and a hook are highly recommended.
The lace pattern is optional and is not written. Only charts are available.
