Hippie Wreath is a short sleeve sweater inspired by vintage photographs of flower crowns worn by hippies in the 60’s and 70’s. The design is a minimalist top down sweater knit up with hand spun yarn and features a cute wreath, or ring, of flowers worked in stranded knitting that circle around the yoke. The flowers have a happy little bobble that pops out of the center. The wreath is shown in Spincycle Yarns Dream State yarn but feel free to substitute your own multicolored hand spun yarn! Gauge:
- 17 sts and 24 rows over 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked in the round and blocked

Needles:
Size 7 (4.5 mm) 32” / 81.5 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, and additional needle of the same size for your preferred method of small circumference knitting (9”/ 23 cm circular, 2-circulars, DPNs or Magic Loop) for the sleeves and cuffs
