Finished hippo is more or less 28 cm (11 inches) – he is not big but makes up for it with his extreme cuteness

This pattern is for the medium advanced crocheters but if you are ready to try I am always ready to help.
You should know basic crochet stitches including chain, slip stitch, single crochet, decrease, increase and how to start with magic ring.

For my projects I use yarn which meterage is 174 yards (159 meters) for 50 g, weight Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), Gauge 24 to 30 st is 4 inches (10 cm) and D hook (3,25 mm).
You will also need safety eyes – 8 mm would be best
