1. Yarn: I use Xuefeier chenille yarn with the yarn thickness of 3.0mm. You are welcome to use any yarn you prefer, just remember to adjust the hook size to match the yarn.
2. Hook: Size 3.0mm for large one, 2.0mm for small one.
3. Safety eyes: 8mm for large one and 6mm for small one.
4. Fiberfill
5. Stitch markers
6. Yarn needle
7. Scissors

Size: If you use the same yarn as me, the finished Hippo will be 11cm/ 4.3inch tall and 14cm/ 5.5inch long.

Basic crochet skills required: the magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, bobble stitch, increase, decrease, and how to change color.
