Hippo Lovey
by Briana Olsen
Who wouldn’t be happy to take this hippo home? Security blankets are a great gift to give to any toddler or baby to snuggle up with.
Materials Needed:
300 yards Worsted Weight Yarn in two colors and black
crochet hook I (5.5mm)
crochet hook G (4.0-4.5mm)
tapestry needle
stitch marker
fiberfill
Yarn weight and gauge is not extremely important, just make sure you are using an appropriate hook size for your yarn of choice. An I hook with worsted weight should give you an 18” blanket.
as part of a collection
