Tweed and feminine touches combine in this vibrant hipster-chic raglan. The pattern has a healthy dose of ease for layering, but the yarn itself is soft enough to wear with a light t-shirt underneath, as Sarah does here. Details include a small-scale mirror-twist vertical design along the center front and continues around the neckline. The v-neckline is edged with a pretty picot trim in a contrasting blue. For those of you with curvier figures, the pattern tapers at the waist. (No curves? Then no taper to worry about). The A-Line pattern flares at both the hip banding and sleeve cuffs.

Sizing - personalized (enter your measurements on the KnitWiz website after signing in). Four to six inches of positive wear ease has been added. Short-row shaping is also added in front (for larger bust to upper-chest ratios) and to the back shoulder area for better fit.

Gauge - Create your own swatches, modify yarn & gauge to suit right on the project page, then view your instructions.

Materials - two different yarns. From the pattern view, select your size to obtain estimated yardages prior to purchase.

Construction - the body is worked in the round, and the sleeves are worked flat to the arm opening. The sleeves are then loaded onto the needles and the raglan “yoke” area is worked in the round to the neckline, then back and forth while the neckline is being shaped.
