The Hipster Hamster pattern is an almost no-sew, scrap busting crochet project. The pattern includes written instructions with pictures for a cute little hamster and cap. 2 different versions of the hamster are included: one with a simpler coloring (body & cheeks in one color, head in another) and one that is a little more realistic (belly and cheeks in one color, body and head in another). Instructions for 3 different versions of the cap are included: a strawberry cap, ducky cap, and simple cap. This amigurumi is crocheted all in one piece from the bottom-up except for the ears which are sewn on. The cap is a removable, separate piece that is not attached to the hamster.

The hipster hamster can be made in any gauge yarn, just be sure to select an appropriate hook size. A few examples of yarn types and hook sizes are provided in the pattern.

This pattern is highly customizable when it comes to colors and caps so be sure to have some fun with it!
