This vest for young male is inspired by Swedish mitten pattern from Öland, named wind-mill. One can knit the same pattern all around, but the pinstripes make the west look more “retro”.

This way you still knit all around just stranding the same color as you used in the front, but in an easier pinstriped pattern on the back of the vest.
