28 Feb 2017: Pattern updated with one more alternative crown decrease + previous crown decrease instructions were improved for a better curvature on the decreases to avoid points.

This unisex hat starts at the brim with 1x1 ribbing or any pattern of your choice, followed by a stockinette body, that makes for a blank canvas hat. Make it as is or substitute your own patterns for the brim and body to make it your own.
This pattern is also perfect to use those one of a kind or vareigated skeins of yarn that you might have in your stash.
