Hjertetihåndenvotter er en feminin vott med julemotiv, men som fint også kan brukes hele vintersesongen. Votten strikkes i rent ullgarn, for å gi ekstra varme på kalde vinterdager. Mønsteret er det samme for alle størrelser, bortsett fra den minste størrelsen, som har eget diagram. Bruk lys eller mørk mønsterfarge etter som hva du synes blir penest. Broder gjerne med en kontrastfarge på et eller flere av hjertene.
Passformen er i utgangspunktet smal og inntilsittende. Husk at alle hender er ulike og det er viktig å vaske og blokke votten til slutt, slik at du oppnår ønsket fasong.

2-4 år:
Vottens mål: ca 8 cm bred over håndbaken. Hel lenge ca 18 cm.
Strikkefasthet 30 m = 10 cm. Pinnestørrelse: 2,5 og 3.
Garn: Røros Lamull fra Rauma, Sunday eller minialpakka fra Sandnes garn.
Garn mengde: ca 25 g bunnfarge og ca 10 g mønsterfarge.

5-7 år:
Vottens mål: ca 8,5 cm bred over håndbaken. Hel lenge ca 20 cm.
Strikkefasthet ca 28 m = 10 cm. Pinnestørrelse: 2,5 og 3.
Garn: Røros Lamull fra Rauma, Sunday eller minialpakka fra Sandnes garn.
Garn mengde: ca 25 g bunnfarge og ca 15 g mønsterfarge.

8-11 år:
Vottens mål: ca 9 cm bred over håndbaken. Hel lengde: ca 22 cm.
Strikkefasthet 26 m = 10 cm. Pinnestørrelse: 3 og 3,5.
Garn: Finull fra Rauma, Tove fra Sandnes Garn, Tumi fra Rauma garn. Lima fra Drops. Peer Gynt kan også brukes, men det bygger noe mer i høyden, se side 4 for tips.
Garnmengde: ca 25 g bunnfarge og 15 g mønsterfarge (finull).

Junior/S (Ungdom/liten dame str):
Vottens mål: ca 10 cm bred over håndbaken. Hel lengde: ca 25 cm.
Strikkefasthet 24 m = 10 cm. Pinnestørrelse: 3,5 og 4.
Garn: Finull fra Rauma, Tove eller Alpakka fra Sandnes Garn. Lima fra Drops.
Garnmengde: Ca 30 g bunnfarge og 20 g mønsterfarge (finull)

M (medium dame):
Vottens mål: ca 11 cm bred. Hel lengde ca 28 cm.
Strikkefasthet 22 m = 10 cm. Pinnestørrelse: 3,5 og 4,5.
Garn: Rauma 3tråds, Peer Gynt fra Sandnes Garn.
Garnmengde: 50 g av hver farge i Rauma 3tråds. NB om du bruker Peer Gynt, trenger du 100 g bunnfarge.

The hearts in my hand mitten is a feminine mitten with a Christmas motif, but can also be used throughout the winter season. Knit the mitten in pure wool to provide extra warmth on cold winter days. The chart is the same for all sizes, except the smallest size, which has its own chart. Embroider on one or more of the hearts with a contrasting color, to highlight the hearts.

The mitten is a fitted size. Remember that all hands are unique and it is important to wash and block the mitten in the end, to achieve the fit you prefer.

2-4 years:

Measurements: approx. 8 cm wide over the back of the hand. Full length approx. 18 cm.

Gauge: 30 sts = 10 cm. Needle size: 2.5 and 3 mm.

Materials: Røros Lamull from Rauma Garn, Sunday or Mini Alpakka from Sandnes Garn, or another fingering weight yarn.

Approx. 25 g of color 1 and approx 10 g of color 2.

5-7 years:

Measurements of the mitten: approx.8.5 wide cm over the back of the hand. Full length approx. 20 cm.

Gauge: 28 sts = 10 cm. Needle size: 2.5 and 3 mm.

Materials: Røros Lamull from Rauma Garn, Sunday or Mini Alpakka from Sandnes Garn, or another fingering weight yarn. Approx. 25 g of color 1 and approx 15 g of color 2.

8-11 years:

Measurements: approx. 9 cm wide over the back of the hand. Full length: approx 22 cm.

Gauge: 26 sts = 10 cm. Needle size: 3 and 3.5 mm.

Materials: Finull or Tumi from Rauma Garn, Tove from Sandnes Garn. Lima from Drops, or another sport weight yarn. Approx. 25 g of color 1 and 15 g of color 2 (Finull).

Junior/S (Youth/small women’s size):

Measurements: approx. 10 cm wide over the back of the hand. Full length: approx 25 cm.

Gauge: 24 sts = 10 cm. Needle size: 3.5 and 4.

Materials: Finull from Rauma Garn, Tove or Alpaca from Sandnes Garn. Lima from Drops, or or another sport weight yarn

Approx. 30 g color 1 and 20 g color 2 (Finull).

M (medium woman’s size):

Measurements of the mittens: approx 11 cm wide over the back of the hand. Full length approx. 28 cm.

Gauge: 22 sts = 10 cm. Pin size: 3.5 and 4.5 mm.

Materials: Rauma 3tråds, Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn, or another DK weight yarn. 50 g of each color in Rauma 3trådsgarn. Note if you are using Peer Gynt, you will need 100 g of color 1.

Needle size is indicative, check your gauge and go up or down on needle size to match the pattern gauge. Use double pointed needles, or long circular needle for magic loop.
