Here is a free pattern for you to enjoy. I offer my patterns for free to give back to the knitting community. If you would like to support the creation of future patterns, please consider making a small contribution via Paypal to: Paypal.me/Viktionary
Donations go towards purchasing yarn for future designs and the occasional Earl Grey latte to keep the fires of creativity fueled. Regardless of whether you contribute or not, thank you for your support and kind words on my patterns.
I am quite fond of geometric motifs and I was excited to find this motif combination of circles and scalloped ovals. The gold and green really complement each other here – giving just the right contrast to make this pattern stand out effectively. The overall look made me think of chain maille links, so I called this Hlenca which is Old English for “a link, a chain of links, a coat of maille formed with rings”.
