You can’t put a Christmas hat collection together without the traditional Santa hat. We have used a contrast fluffy yarn for the brim and the large pom-pom which brings a very realistic look to the hat and helps to make it more cuddly and warm. The pattern is written for 4 sizes from 6 months all the way to adult and is well suited to a beginner.

What you’ll need:

• 4.5mm/G hook
• worsted weight yarn and heavy worsted or chunky fluffy yarn
• circular work and pom pom
