This small handbag bag/ baguette bag/ hobo bag is easy and pretty fast to make! It’s casual and comfortable, there is enough space for all you need to go for coffee, go to the movies or walk down the street!
Materials, tools:
Any yarn (I used polyester cord witout core, 5 mm, 200m/7874,02 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 5 mm)
Techniques needed to make a purse - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Single crochet (sc)
Size of the finished item:
The size of finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My bag:
38 cm (14.9 in) (height) x 29 cm (11.4 in) (length) x 33 cm (12.9 in) (width)
Gauge: 10 stitches and 9 rows in 4 inches
