Hobo Socks
My husband has an uncanny, and annoying, ability to wear holes in his store socks within weeks of purchasing them. It has sort of become his signature style, and running joke in our family. So when he asked me to knit him socks with holes in them for Christmas, I thought he was joking. But no. He really wanted them. And it turns out that other people like this sort of thing too.
This sock is easy to modify for different sizes by playing with the gauge. Add more or less holes, as you prefer.
100% of my proceeds from sales of this pattern will go to Living Water international, for my husband. He has recently returned from a trip to Haiti with that organization, and feels compelled to go back. He and his team repaired 15 wells, bringing clean water to thousands of people, most of them kids. I want to help send him back to help more.
