Hocus Pocus Pumpkin
Get ready for a little Halloween fun with the Hocus Pocus Pumpkin pattern! The pumpkins are created by working in striped rows and need only a small amount of yarn. The shaping is minimal, with only a few stitches required to create the squishy shape. If you want more of a spooky twist to your decorations, add some safety eyes and a face for the witch version (included in the pattern).
This crochet amigurumi pattern is written for beginners and neurodiverse crafters. The abbreviated instructions are followed by a breakdown in italics making it easier to understand what you need to do in each round. If you’ve had trouble reading patterns in the past, we hope that you’ll give our patterns a try!
One of the best things about this pattern is that it only uses a small amount of yarn, so get out your scraps. Just remember that the hook size will depend on your yarn thickness and tension. Using Aran yarn / DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook, our Hocus Pocus Pumpkin is approximately 8cm x 6.5cm. The size will vary depending on yarn, hook, and tension.
