The Hogmanay Hoolie tea cosy is based on an old Highland tradition of dressing in your best kilt whilst wearing a hide of a Highland cattle, and dancing around the roof of the village blackhouses chanting a hogmanay poem, whilst other hogmanay revellers hit him with sticks. All the fun of a New Years party!

The tea cosy has a scottish man dressed in his kilt and sporran. The tartan effect could be made to look like any simple tartan by changing the colours.

The highland cattle hide is draped over the body of the man. The fur of the bull is achieved with King Cole Moments DK Ginger. It makes the hide look woolly and plush.
